Mommy has taken up drinking!

Ugh, have you heard of the new reality show?  Hardcore Potty Training...it's being filmed at my house right now.  I know there are various philosophies & methods. We have bribed with m&ms, toys, games, & money. Nothing seems to be working. Our Little Lady Bug has always take her own time with things. She was born early & late to everything else & that's ok with me. She can take her sweet time BUT her preschool says she must be potty trained before she can attend & friends she MUST attend. Last year was there first year my children were both in a preschool program. I relished those Tuesdays & Thursdays, not that I don't love my children, but a girl has got to breathe...A GIRL HAS GOT TO BATHE! Seriously, I was giddy that first day.
We have high hopes for LLB Princess, high hopes & a time table of 15 minutes between throne sittings.
& since I have never really been a drinker, I am taking recommendations.

To think you could fly....

I love, love, love, watching my girls develop & display their imagination. They have been playing dress-up quite a bit lately. Like most homes with girls we have an array of tu-tus, princess costumes, scarves, sunglasses, & hats. Yesterday, my Sunshine brought me a set of fairy wings to help her put on. As I was helping her she had a good gaze going on towards the stairs that lead downward. I told her "You know these won't really make you fly, don't you." She paused for longer than I thought she should of before sighing & saying "I know". Now, I don't know if she really knew that they wouldn't make her fly, or she was displaying disappointment in her hopeful wish not coming true. I did think, wow, I remember the feeling of thinking I could fly.
I was a pretty imaginitive kid. Which is probably why I cherish watching my own children develop their imaginations. I played with my dolls for hours, & anything was a doll---at a restaurant my fork & spoon were a bride & groom, I cranked up music from an old record of Walt Disney World's Electrical Parade out of the window of our house & pretended a parade was going by, I didn't have an imaginary friend, I had an imaginary people group living in my backyard called the "MaKoodies". I certainly hung on to Santa Claus a little longer than most of my friends. I even remember going to the movies & seeing people flying & practicing it out in the lobby .  I believed if I tried I could fly.
